Finally picked her up today. It's even nicer than I was expecting. I'm coming from a 2009 335i sedan that I bought ready built from the dealer. With this car I decided to build it how I want. I ordered it nearly fully loaded.

The wait was pretty difficult. I'm not a very patient person lol. But in the end I think the wait was worth it.

I wanted to get the B&O Stereo too but I thought the cream colored speakers would look weird with the black leather

About 8 weeks total. I ordered it the last week in September. My dealer had a car that was about to be built so I reconfigured it to what I wanted. That probably saved me a few weeks but because of sandy my ship was diverted to Baltimore and took an extra week to get to NYC.

Damn fine looking car there...very nice! My Carbon Black 535d M-Sport has just been built & is awaiting shipping tp OZ. just 1 little problem - I've found out that it was built without 2 of the options I ordered; the dealer has yet to get back to me with his plan to fix this issue. To say I'm not happy is putting it mildly.

TPMS & Voice Control. Both of which I regard as essential. Anyway, the dealer's GM is due to call me today to discuss. This car is my 6th new beemer & the first I've ever factory ordered &, after waiting 2.5 months since I ordered it, to find out they've made such a basic mistake is really depressing.

Voice control may only requires a code to activate it - the necessary bits to make it work are probably already in place. The TPMS software also probably only needs to be activated, but the rest may be harder as it'll need pressure sensors. If they are built into the wheel they might have to find some new ones for you.

I think I can concur both voice control and TPMS can be retrofitted to the car. You should have the dealer able to code the car to activate them since these features are already embedded in the electronics. Others are correct...you will need to add TPMS sensors to your car and then have the vehicle coded to activate TPMS and then the wheels will need to learn the settings but it should be doable easy enough. Dealer I think should goodwill this retrofits and should be at no cost to you since it was their error it sounds like. GL

I see the Efficient Dynamics-That not where the engine shuts off and cut back on after you let off the break. Not found of this feature. Would this effect the take off speed. I had a X3 loaner that did this. So just asking is it the same feature.
