Drove to Orlando with car top carrier

I averaged about 18-19MPG with it on top of the car. I bought the Thule Aeroblade and the sound was not bad at all. No whistle or anykind or odd noise from the roof. I was going to get the BMW brand but I saw a few of them after a while the black started to fade. Overall I'm happy with Thule.

If I do paint the carrier I would do it in black. The silver matches my e46 wagon.

Where did you drive in from? I don't see any bugs on the front. Thats the worst part about driving on the Florida highways (in certain areas).
