From F10 535i to F11 530d to F10 LCI 5xxx...

Hi there,

I am Sjoerd, 32 of age and living in Holland. I work globally in FMCG; spending about 150.000 miles per year in planes. If not in a plane I am a bit of a car nut with some specific sideways preferences

In May 2010 I picked up a F10 535i M6. However BMW took the car back last week as the car had some issues which couldn't be solved. As the LCI is coming in July/August I am driving a temp F11 530d A8 at the moment. Most likely I will order a LCI 535d with some bits and pieces.

In the weekend; providing I don't need to cross too many speed bumps or need to go into parking garages I drive a 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 MK2 Clubsport. Off course also on track

BMW F10 535i M6

I ordered the 535i with manual stick; even in the EU this is exceptional. BMW Holland called me twice if I was sure ordering it like that. Yes I was!

I have ordered it TiAG with black leather interior. It was a 'high executive' which here it comes with xenon, leather, heated seats, satnav pro, PDC amongst other. I have added quite some options like parking camera's (they are great!), sunroof, black headliner, hifi pro and sport seats. In summer I was driving on 331's, in winter on 328's.

I retrofitted the car with DVDinmotion, M steering wheel and a Drexler Limited Slip Differential

This is a temporary car from the garage. It is pretty well speced with AFS (defenitely order that on the new one), high executive, panoramic roof, hifi pro eg. Sophisto grau with Cinnamon (Zimt Braun here) interior is not something I would choose myself though...

Porsche 911 GT3

This is my fun car and boy is it fun!

It is a clubsport, meaning roll cage, race seatbelts, race seats eg. Only ABS as there to keep me out of the sh*t which is fine. I topped it 331 km/hon the speedo on the German Autobahn, pretty fast I can tell you

Previously I was driving Audi Quattro's. Not to start a whole flame war but BMW is suiting me better as a car!

Love the GT3 CS. What's the difference between the CS and RS? both euro spec.

I would have a mental breakdown if I had to spend that much time on a plane.
