Thanks for posting. I wondered where the hybrid was trying to fit it and it seems that unless you buy one cheap after BMW have registered it then its a but of a lemon.

Lol at blender wheels comment by them. True...the car isn't worth the extra cost.

Disappointed in the BMWs score but happy that Plato said he'd pick the RX8. That was my last car and I loved her oh so much.

Well, I guess it depends on where you live. In Thailand there is no diesel larger than the 525 unless you go for a parallel import, which the official dealers will not service nor will they honour the warranty - a risk that not all (me included) are willing to take. Here, the ActiveHybrid works out at 2,000,000 Thai Baht ($65KUS) less than the standard 535i. This is due to the fact that there is a specific import tax levied on all vehicles, but is much reduced for hybrids - as long as they have a 3.0L or less engine size. I can tell you that this car makes a lot of sense for me. The equivalent Hybrid Lexus GS 450 has a 3.5L engine and comes in at a rather scary 7,800,000THB ($260K US). (Not to mention that it also has a horrible CVT 'box).

I have my AH5 M Sport on order. Only another 5 months to go :-(

I have a lot of respect for tiff but in that review he sounded like a the ring master at a circus. Couldn't take anything he said seriously with the way he was carrying on.

+1. Cheap version of Top Gear.

The RS4 review reminds me how disappointed I am that the US no longer has the wagon option on the 5 series.

Fifth Gear has stayed the same, with factual content. Top gear is just entertainment these days. Too many setup races from here to there for my liking.
