Spied: 2010 BMW 5-series - "BMW F10 5-series"

First prototype of upcoming 6th generation BMW 5-series (F10) caught testing in Munich.

Due in early 2010.

Expected to feature an 8-speed auto with an AWD option avaialble. Will also Park Distance Control and an around-view monitor system.

looks like a big version of the current E90 3-series... obviously there is still lots of camo, but if you "read in between the lines"

It certainly looks a lot like the 3 series in camo but besides the hoffmiester kink and 4 doors I'm not sure how you can tell what it looks like.

Seems like the body aft of the A-pillar will follow a more 7-series body line..

Looks like an early M model testing, you can tell from the wide fenders and quad exhaust.

BMW is making their cars bulkier as years pass by. The sleekness that older BMWs had is gone.

So much camo there's no point to these shots. The quads are the only hint of what we can expect...I find it funny how they choose the ugly ass 7 series (pre-facelift).

I'm not feeling the shape of the front center grille. It looks very M45-ish IMO, and I can't imagine that shape with kidneys in the middle of it.

Those "camo" taillights are halarious and hidious at the same time...

Looks like "black altezza's" I have seen on some SRT-4's...

Indeed an M, as noted from a preious poster, quad exhaust and wider fenders give it away...

i was a big fan of the old 5 series fan. i didn't like it when it came out, but i really really like it now.

but this new rear not a fan. hopefully i'll change my mind when it gets unveiled
