With the latest software there is also one positive difference between Sport and Sport+ that has not been mentioned yet.

Sport+, and shifter in M, disables the "kick down" function and holds the selected gear. Say you are driving in 3rd and presses the throttle all the way down, it won't downshift unless you use the paddle and manually downshift.

Same with upshifts, it won't shift up even though you hit the limiter. It just keeps on going at the redline until YOU select to shift up.

This gives the driver more control over the gearbox and let's you decide if it's best to shift or stay in gear. That way you avoid having a upshift on redline just a few metres before braking for a corner etc.
