I had some on my Tacoma rims, rear bumper and emblems for about 3 years and never had to do anything with it. I even went through the car washes with the tire cleaning brushes and everything. I live in New England too so the road salts don't mess it up either. The only down side to doing it on the rims is when you get a tire change or balancing, the machine tears it up but it is a quick fix even though I've only had to do that once. The biggest thing to do is making sure to clean it from oils and crap the first time. I used rubbing alcohol after using some chemical guys citrus rinse soap (or something like that) and it was amazing at how long it lasted!

The car looks pretty wicked with it on the white too! Nice job!
