It is not latest.
The BMW.com/update site offers occasional updates.
To receive the latest MN/TN levels you'll need to have car reprogrammed with latest iStep (or manually flash Nav hardware using esys or Ista.
For instance if you have NBT the current firmware is NBT_O. Your version # can be seen in the Nav version screen. just enter Map and click controller right and scroll to version menu.
