I have a late 2014. With business nav. I just used the purple connector for the professional screen. It's a 10 minute job. Just fit the screen then change the coding mentioned above.
Just to note: when you first switch the ignition on to code, the screen will be blank. Don't panic, after you have coded the screen will come to life.
As far as I know, the pink connector is only needed if using a professional head unit.
