Ikon should just make their customers happy and either replace the item or a refund. or work with the customer

Yep, these kinds of sellers usually have very little experience with hardware. They think along the lines of "a bolt is a bolt, tape is tape, what's the difference between a 1 cent bolt and a 1 dollar bolt? I could save a buck!"
