I realize that Hamilton may be on the wane, but his legacy will continue on for quite some time. While Verstappen is still quite young, there are many new up and coming drivers waiting in the wings, just like he, and every driver did. Also, technology improves at a mad pace, and I doubt manufacturers will stand by twiddling their thumbs. Unless Verstappen's life is guaranteed, that too, becomes a factor. Remember, grasshopper, there is a saying about a bird in the hand.
