Thanks! Also very useful. I was really not sure how rigid the packages were or if indeed there's a "parts bin" approach sometimes.
I now recall that this BMW was sold in Holland as a "Last Minute Edition", which is an odd misnomer for some of the first LCIs to be sold. When I looked a few weeks ago I could not find any press release or other info about this (possible) package/edition. Looking again, the dark carpeting could be a feature, I see other "Last Minute Editions" also have this (irregular?) option. If you say it's not the usual colour, maybe it was a feature of a series of Dutch models. I get the car in two weeks, maybe the paperwork will offer more insights. I thought the VIN alone would tell me the whole story.
In any case I love the two-tone look!
