You can get an i3 for under $200 right now with the following rebates/incentives:
$7500 Fed
$2000 Loyalty
$1000 UDE
Then front the post-sale rebates to knock you cap cost down:
$2500 State rebate
$1000 BMWCCA rebate
$450 SCE rebate
Currently they are only willing to go 9% off MSRP, so that's $14,450 off a $55k+ car selling for $50k to get it to the mid-30's. Current RV is 61% with a 0.00182 MF for a 30mo/10k. If you have a current BMW with MSDs you can grandfather it in for cheap since the rebates will drive your monthly down.
With these numbers, I've gotten it down to $190/mo including tax, zero down. Total cost out of pocket for the entire lease including fees and taxes is about $7500 for a 30 month lease at 10k miles.
I just go this quote recently. 9% off isn't great, but it's not bad after the rebates. I think the deals should get better next month.
