When I was on the highway stuck in a traffic jam, the Nav was filled with the triangles showing the estimated length of the jam and it updated as I progressed. When I progressed to where the traffic jam ended, the NAV indicated that the jam was clearing up as always.
It also offered alternative routes showing the ETA saved as well.

Ahhh.... The triangles are FM based traffic info. Our 2012 535i had that after I didn't pay the $200 for the RTTI & Concierge services. I fully expected to see the triangles in our 2014, yet I don't and I don't know why.
