Could be a bad axle shaft. I had this issue on my old e90 335i and it would vibrate like hell at highway speeds....anywhere from a slight vibration at 80mph to the whole dash dancing around at 140mph (Autobahn). The way I figured it out was I jacked the rear of the car up, turned off traction control and stability control, and ran the back wheels up to the speed where the vibrations were most noticeable. Turned out the drivers rear had more visible shake (up and down wobble) than the left, and replacing the CV axle shaft solved the highway vibration.

If you do jack the car up and run it through the gears, have someone in the drivers seat while you're in the back inspecting. Not a safe practice, but it worked for me.
