Totally know what ur talking about now. It's actually the yellow line under the car for the parking spot.
I opened it up by using sheers like the angle cutters they sell in Walmart's tool section for like 3/4 bucks.

Listen bmw and there plastics are great. Don't get me wrong they hold out a lot of dirt. And they keep dust and sand (especially where I live at the beach) but my only complaint is the amount of air flow into our engine bays.
Our typical temp is 170 degrees operating normally for intake air temp . That's crazy!!
I can sit now and my operating temps are Highest at 120. Mostly hover around a 100-110... also now driving before it got cold my temps dropped all the way to 70-80 degrees because of wind speed.
I understand that this isn't the biggest deal in the world. But to me il take any type of temperature drop I can get.

In response to sound and performance. It may be placebo but my fckin car kicks man. It literally will get to 140 like it's a slight jog. I terrorize the steetd and can admit I drive like an asshole.
I'm drifting every intersection, and every turn I can. I come off highways sideways and hit on ramps like hot wheels speed drops . I constantly am swerving and turning and idgaf! I have beaten down corvettes, supercharged mustangs and Camaros. I just dusted a challenger with a big v8 setup I don't care who it is.

Currently waiting on an injector replacement to get my dtm back to normal but I Love this car. I literally get giddy like a school girl every time I take off "wooo! Every time " is my favorite quote because every time I get on it, it's a feeling like no other.

I mean fck I pay for premium gas, get trrrible gas mileage and have a 100k mile warranty, I'm gonna enjoy every last mile ... and keep having Bmw fix a thing that goes wrong because that's why I got it. I didn't get an almost supercar to drive like an old lady, no, I got it to drive like an asshole and laugh when mofos try to stop me. And il sell it before my 100k warranty for another one.

I roam this earth only once. I'm doing it with as much fun as possible .
And my definition is sideways 80mph with ur girlfriend in the front seat ... call me a tool. Il take it. But I love it, my kids love it, and so does ur boys girlfriend too...

Now cockyness aside . Psa I'm a jerk, big jerk, and drive like one. But I can admit it, and people trust me when their in my car. And I take that trust seriously and don't do STUPID things. My father was a police officer and taught triple a who also taught me his swat driving techniques and my line of thinking and driving isn't common. I'm not looking 2/3 cars ahead, I'm looking 8-10, and constantly keeping my head on a swivel. It's not a joke and shouldn't be taken lightly. So I don't recommend just suddenly being an idiot. But research , learn, practice, learn not on a 70k Bmw and you will enjoy when u step into that German power and can use it to its fullest ...

Oh and 0 tickets or accidents on my license.
Although I have been pulled over by a helicopter when I was 18, and most recently a cop pulled me doing 130 in a 60, in my Honda , and wrote me for 5 over no points and then didn't show for court.
As well as I got pulled doing 85-45 and did a burnout with him behind me(it was night and didn't c him at all) and got a warning ...
Lucky yes but if pulled always be legal and immediately fall on the sword... "I'm such an asshole driving like an idiot on your highway sir"

Cheers
