I would do it again, dealer wanted $5900 to do the install, but I did the project to keep busy on the weekends. Same deal as doing a puzzle or something. Now that this is pretty much done will have to find something else to direct my attention - basement needs finishing.
Thanks for the info on the turbo rebuilds - I ended up talking to pure turbos - when I told them the price for new ones from BMW they noted it was a steal; I will pull the current ones off and take a closer look over the weekend but my plan is to purchase new ones from the dealer. Amazingly parts for this car are pretty reasonable.

Lol, if you want weekend projects, I'll hire you in the future haha. I'm in CT. Crossing my fingers, I hope I will not have any engine issues for another 20k. 78k now.
