A note of appreciation as well to BMW, for whether it was planned or they may have read the Forums and responded to concern about the heavy moonroof on the X3M, it appears we will be able to order the X3M Comp with ZPX Exec package which, when combined with 7ME M Driver's Package (available in Aug 2019) automatically deletes 402 Moonroof. And a bonus is that it actually subtracts $1,200 off the $3,900 ZPX cost.  
Have already prepared our order to send to our Dealer. MSRP comes in around $86,000. So the wait for August production start begins (holding off for the 7ME, not necessarily for ID7, but that would be icing on the cake). |
Great news that there will be a no moon roof option.
1 weight reduction
2 many people never use a moonroof - AC for hot days and on nice days windows down is better without sunroof because hot sun on ur face is for the pool or beach
3 savings = $1200 cheaper
4 long term moonroof is liability to break, leak or rust
5 Win/Win - Moonroof available for those who use it, like it
