I believe they are 1mm larger than the stock units and they have a different impeller design.
They did made more power than the stock ones when I was tuned with the jb4, high flow cats, new o2 sensors, intake and other mods.
Mind you they were modded with the stock turbos first and then the alpinas. The power delivery was nice and gained alittle bit more top end.
It is subjective when people can make really good power with the stock turbos with an efficient tune and mods, but I’m sure the Alpina turbos will give you more room to grow or they can make the same power with less effort than the stock ones.
