535d EGR Cooler Recall
Are there any diesel owners who have changed out their vehicle's EGR Cooler as a result of a recent BMW recall? I thought it might be connected to vehicle fires reported in BMW diesels, but my local service writer says that's another issue entirely.
I only found out about this one while getting my car's oil changed as part of the warranty service every 10K miles. However, I would think a recall involving potential fires would be sent by mail (so perhaps my service writer is correct).
