sorry for the late reply didnt login until now...
originally replaced the pads and went with OEM which in my case were ceramic pads. Hated the bite, loved the no dust. Researched and ended up swapping the pads again but with ATE branded "GF"rated pads which are semi-metallic. Still newly installed with under 5k miles but no noise at all but the braking has greatly improved on my vehicle with these pads to where I finally feel confident in these brakes.
