Hi , I replaced mine following a "powertrain malfunction" message. It's quite easy.

I'm not sure if you have located it. I guess you can follow the buzzing sound.

It's fastened to the top cover of the engine to the left (looking from the front) very close to the suspension turret. ( You can follow the small ( ~8mm) pipe from the actual wastegate actuator on the turbo)

Two retaining nuts , (the lower on is quite tricky due to access) ideally you need a deep socket (10mm I think) but then there is not room for the wrench for fit in the socket. I used pipe grips on the socket.

Disconnect the electrical connector
twist the vacuum pipes to free , then simply pull off.

Reverse all of the above to re fit.

. The new one I fitted had a different part number and looked a little different. ( The filter on the new one is bigger )
