The new 2022 fuel came into play !
For 2022, F1 moved to the new 'E10' fuel .This referring to the ethanol content of the fuel. Last year, the ethanol content was 5.75 %.
This year, they must run with 10 % ethanol according to the FIA fuel regulations !
This means less of HP ..
But Ferrari managed somehow to increase the HP with their Ferrari 2022 'Superfast PU .

I thought most, or at least the top 3 figured out the fuel by the start of the season? If not, this could also be a contributing factor.
