I haven't seen any fraying on my e92 or f10 wheels previously, but the PO's detail shop LOVED Armor All
. I needed to clean them off well.
To clean and condition wheels back to new-ish, I use diluted OPT Power Clean to remove oil/dirt. Then I use OPT Leather conditioner to protect/condition. This method by chemical guys works well
