Thanks for the hint. I noticed the little gap. Its mainly because I didn't have enough screws to hold the diffuser in place. Next time I have the chance, I'm take the bumper off the finish screwing in the all the tabs.

seems like most of the forum members who bought Ebay diffusers will mention about the minor gaps. i got the idea from them to use either black sealant or you can use black silicon too which can be removed if you decide to change out the diffuser to something else
