There seem, of course to be two camps on part of that query:
1 - Folks that don't want the car back because they feel it'll have been trashed by the thief and they'd rather have a replacement vehicle.
2 - Folks that want their car back.

I'm with "1"... If I ever get a car stolen, I don't want it back. Not my choice if the car is to be found, but it's going straight to the dealer to be traded in for another one.
