The NCT isn't a golden ticket; you could drive out of there & something could fail that they haven't spotted. Or they missed it in the first place. €900 is a work of fantasy; you should be paying an independent 2 hours labour max (€120) and the cost of the spring. Personally I'd replace them in pairs.
