I don't agree with that sentiment exactly. However, I am having another issue on my 2011 550i they noted. They continue, "But some sharp bumps can reverberate throughout its structure." I have had a similar issue with the suspension on my 2011 550i. When I go over a "ledge" in the road, say an inch or so drop, the rear wheels make a loud thud and it feels like the car is bottoming out. It is very unnerving. Granted, I don't want a Lexus ride, but this is a bit much. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Suggestions?

I got that sound yesterday. I was pulling out of a parking lot onto a highway. I thought I clipped the curb but nothing on the wheel. TG I hate curb rash.
