Your salesman can do a "Vehicle Inquiry: Status" on the BMW internal network and give you all the following info:

VIN, Product Number, Status, Actual Production Date, Priority, Customer Name, Port Location, Destination Location, Shipping Vessel Name, Voyage Number and Bill of Lading Number along with other seemingly meaningless info.
