I have the Bluetooth enabled BimmerLink app for my phone as well as the Bavarian Technic Basic Kit (
http://www.bavariantechnic.com/). Both yield the same results as far as I have been able to determine. Are these the type of readers you had in mind? Neither yielded any codes.
I stopped in at my favorite independent BMW shop. They could not pull any codes either and suggested the dealer. Im not ready to concede defete quite yet.
I checked all the fuses for the climate control. They were all intact.
