Hi guys, I watched bunches of youtube videos and read posts like
this one before attempting a battery installation / registration. Getting the old battery out and new one in was very easy. But I am stuck now on the registration step.
I bought a foxwell NT520 Pro (since they dont make 510 anymore...) and downloaded the BMW software on to it. When trying to register, I keep getting a "Battery change could not be registered" error. Says possible causes are No communication with IBS or engine electronics or DME/DDE program status cannot save battery change.
Has anyone had issues like this before?
I am not using an OEM bmw battery, but i've seen a few posts using an H8 AGM from autozone and everything working out, so not sure what i'm missing here.
