Your wheel width is stamped on the back side of each wheel (usually on one of the spokes), along with its offset. If they are OEM wheels and not staggered, as suggested by your door pillar and the fact that all of your tires are already 245/40/19, then they are likely 8.5" wide. You do need a 9" or 9.5" wide wheel to install a 275/35/19 tire, and as already said, you should not go wider than 255mm (eg 255/40/19) on an 8.5" wide wheel. 245/40/19 is the standard tire size for OEM on a 8.5 x 19" wheel. Do your front and rear tires seem to have the same amount of bulging or stretching? If so, then your wheels are almost certainly not staggered.
