It depends on the deal and how long you plan to keep the car. In U.S. dollars a 2013 will be worth about $5,200 less in 4 years than a 2014, so that's your break even point. The ride and steering on the 2014 are better in my opinion - tighter with more road feel. The new iDrive has some nice enhancements with the larger controller, pinch to zoom on the maps, and handwriting recognition on the touchpad. I like the new grill better as well.
Overall though, the improvements are incremental - nothing major.
