My Rdc unit failed (2011 550i MSport) and I replaced it (under the rear bumper). That obviously didn't do it because the Rdc needs to be recoded. Then I used BimmerCode, recoded the CAS module (in novice mode by changing one of the parameters) and that somehow established the connection to the new unit and I got pressure/temp info. However, that seems to be temporary. If I turn off the ignition, I get the TMP error again and if I check with BimmerLink, I see the error "RDC unit/module not coded" or something very close (didn't write it down). I can repeat this process to make it connect but connection is lost once the ignition is turned off.

Does anyone know if I can code the new Rdc unit with BimmerCode? I tried to find documentation on the BimmerCode website but could not.
