Standard WD40 isn't a lubricant. Sounds like excess powdercoat. Maybe a little emery cloth or 3K grit sandpaper is in order to smooth the mounting surface. Does the cap spin in your hand? That would rule in or out the bearings. |
Definately spins in my hand but I also notice a slight wobble which may cause the lip of the rounded to get caught. All other caps are fine.
I'm picking up a fresh set of floating caps this evening and will test them out to see if a new cap was in order or excess powder coat is the culprit
