Next service due reset after coding
Hello all,
I have an issue after coding some features on my car, respectively the counter for next service of the break pads was reset from 3.000 miles to 35.000 miles.
Has anybody encountered a similar issue? The service period for engine oil, break fluid and vehicle check remained unchanged.
A coded the automatic release of the handbrake and display of speed on digital screen using an ENET cable and E-SYS premium launcher.
During coding, iDrive displayed an error regarding brakes but this was not the case after finalizing the process - no errors and the coded functions working as intended.
I fear my brake pads will wear out and I will not be alerted to service them on time. On the other hand, I would check their state right now but this would mean to take of the wheels.
Any suggestion is more than welcomed.
