Yeah... but the WXman isn't responsible for the weather...
I wish the WX-folks around here would stop taking responsibility for the WX and just forecast it. Besides, they ALL get their basic info from the NWS's satellites! We used to call them weather-guessers anyway. We went the opposite of their forecasted wind; if they said out of the north, we made decisions based on a south wind and vice-versa. |
I hear you, they may not be responsible but it is there job. If you only meet 70% of your job responsibilities at work month after month then how long would you remain employed? I get it though, it's hard but it wasn't a shower it was a straight up downpour!
Maybe it's my fault for not paying attention to weather forecasts close enough like I did back in the day when I climbed cell towers.
