So the backup camera has stopped working and needs replacement on my 2015 550i. The dealer wants an ungodly amount to do it so I figured I would check here first to see if anyone has done this and can offer tips on doing it myself. Is this a straightforward swap or is it sufficiently complicated that i should pay the dealer to do it? I can find a salvaged oem replacement on ebay for about $100 whereas the dealer wants $700 for the item and two hours of labor.
