So it is. I preached against BMW's for eons, until 2014 after my Impreza got stuck in the snow because of inadequate ground clearance.
Best small SUV at that time with all the "things" was a 2014 x1. Have bought little other than BMW's since, and most of the "other" cars have been massive disappointments in one way or the other. Loved the other BMW's and let them go only for lifestyle or utility reasons. None of them are or were perfect, but they sure are damn good drivers cars.
