I installed my own and have the instructions. These state that they are supplied with a primer finish and so must be painted, but mine weren't and have been left black which goes just fine with silver body colour.
They have double sided tape pre applied to the edges, but I did not remove the protective strip as semi permamnt fixing would make access to the wheelarch liner difficult.
At the front, existing push rivets are supposed to be discarded in favour of longer ones on the wing/fender edge. To secure the inner edge, cuts in the wheelarch liner are supposed to made, for metal clips and screws. However this will let water behind the liner, the clips will rust, and the liner weakened, so I drilled the liner instead, and used those discarded push rivets instead, and this has all worked fine.
