I submitted my $5K deposit and order with the dealer June 1 for a 2014 535ix with the following options listed on my build sheet:
416 - Carbon Black Metallic
LCLZ - Black Dakota Leather
4MR - Aluminum Hexagon Trim
453 - Ventilated Seats
Z5J - M Sport Package
Z5D - Premium Package
Z5F - Technology Package
688 - Harman/Kardon Sound
I'm still waiting for confirmation for my order and a delivery date. Can someone please share experience with the order process? Once my order is submitted to BMW, what information should I expect from my Canadian dealer? I don't even have a delivery date. When do orders typically get submitted/accepted?
Interior Seating - what's the consensus out there? Dakota or Nappa Leather? Can someone please share pros and cons. It seems like I have an option to go nappa leather with no extra cost since it's part of the premium package, but then again not sure whether this is true as I also order ventilated seats.
