From the outside: like a Diesel, a bit deeper than a 535d though due ot the different exhaust.
From the inside: not that much like a Diesel. They make use of Active Sound Design a lot here. Bbut you will always know from the interior sound that it's a Diesel - on purpose by the way.
So the ASD is not as strong / not as much faking as in the new Audi A6 3.0tdi (don't know if americans know that car).
