17-20k is what BMW recommend
It's reasonably low miles for a 62 plate car, if you can stretch to one which is a 63 or newer you'd enjoy the car more as it will be an LCI/facelift
My own car is serviced at 17-20k intervals by BMW but also gets an oil change 9k after each dealer service by the independent I use just to look after the turbo.
