Nearly every F10 driver I've seen on the road is dirt old. It makes sense as people in their 20s and 30s generally do not have the disposable income to buy a car over $60k. And if they do, they usually go for something else.
Actually new cars in general are bought by older people. Even the Civic in its Fast and Furious phase, had the buyers at an average age of nearly 50.
You just feel that it's younger because of the people you associate yourself with. It's a very biased sample of the general population.
I've read somewhere that the average age of a BMW 3 series buyer is low 40s. 3 series is their volume segment so that's a lot of weight towards the average. 5 series should be mid 50s or higher. Overall average age for BMW drivers are 49.
