Just ordered a new BMW oil filter cap (and another Mann filter) cause it'll take a few days to arrive. Watched enough youtube videos to see that weird things happen from the cap as well that I want to rule it out as a culprit. Telling myself it's plastic and doesn't hurt to swap it out as preventive maintenance.
