Does anybody know if the F02 760i/Alpina calipers will bolt up to the 550i with the 374x36 rotors?
I bought a set of used calipers from ebay just to get the carriers to add to my 550i calipers (was less than one carrier new), but now I am thinking of having the 760i calipers powder coated black and rebuilding them, then just swap out with my stock 817/818 calipers when I install the 374x36 rotors. The Calipers I bought are PN 34116786827 left side and PN 34116786828 right side. Can I still use the 550i pad wear sensor with the new bigger pads? Or do I also need the 760i wear sensors?
Brake lines should just bolt up? I am thinking maybe SS brake lines while I'm in there. I already bought the solid Bronze bushing/pin kit from ECS to install on the calipers too.
