Agree with you 110%
I had an e60 535i prior to my f10 550i. My f10 550i far surpasses the handling capabilities of my e60 535i. My own personal observation.
For my driving purposes, I would never consider this car without the IAS if your going to be taking slopping highways very fast as the stability that is created by IAS is incredible.
