hope so. I cleaned the surface (just with water and dried with a microfiber towel). I did three coats and like you said, light coat on first with the second and third a little more without dripping. I waited about 15 mins between coats.

It was pretty easy with the longest part covering the trunk and bumper with newspaper to make sure I didn't get excess dip anywhere.
