My 525d SE came with the basic steering wheel; you need to buy a M Sport steering wheel complete with the paddles, multi-function switches and the airbag (the ordinary airbag won't fit the M Sport Wheel) - i.e. a complete wheel.
The swap is very quick, and coding is ok - once you're familiar with coding.
