I don't think it is an issue at the power levels even with a bigger turbo. With the stock inlet I don't think anyone was able to get above 17PSI and then I was maxing out WGDC (Waste Gate Duty Cycle) because the turbo was keeping the wastegate closed trying to build boost, but the stock inlet didn't allow enough air to enter. The piece you are referring to looks like it could be an issue, but I am able to fully utilize the PS2 now without high WGDC levels. This means there is no significant restriction in airflow to the turbo.
